Andrew Spencer

I’m a husband, father of two, and dog-dad to one. Life is busy, but I’ve always wanted to start a business, and providing lawn care services just made sense. I started mowing with my dad at an early age, and as soon as I weighed enough to activate the seat safety switch, I took over mowing on my own.

I still enjoy mowing–and really, any outdoor activity. Whether I’m hunting, fishing, skiing, or camping, I want to be outside as much as possible. Helping people maintain their lawns gives me the opportunity to work with my hands and spend time outdoors while I’m doing it. That’s a win-win in my book.

What qualities do you have that make you a good fit for lawn care services?
I work full time as a machinist, and that requires a lot of attention to detail, a skill that’s helpful when you’re maintaining someone’s property. There’s something really satisfying about looking at a freshly cut lawn and neat landscaping–especially when you’ve created it through your own hard work!

Dave Bossler

My passion for the service industry began at an early age while working at my parents’ family-owned business. That experience taught me the value of hard work, dedication, and problem-solving. With my parents’ guidance, I learned how to create positive experiences for our customers by going above and beyond to meet their needs.

I’ve applied those same principles over the past 25 years working as a professional in marketing and advertising. But throughout my marketing career, I’ve always wanted to create a service business, and with my love of the outdoors and passion for getting hands on with yard work and lawn equipment, I realized lawn care was the perfect fit.

What was your first exposure to the lawn care business?
I landed my first mowing job when I was nine years old. A member of our church who was in her 80s needed help caring for her lawn. Over the years, she became a special friend to me, and I took pride in doing great work for her.
